Oikos-Brigg is a Christian community charity serving Brigg, North Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.
Our Christian faith is at the heart of who we are and shapes the way we support others – through prayer, opportunities to explore faith, practical help and community connection.
We are also here to help improve everyday life for people across our community, particularly those experiencing hardship, isolation, ill health, disability or other challenges. Through food support, social groups, community activities, advice and welcoming spaces, we aim to bring people together, reduce isolation and help people feel supported and included.
You do not need to be Christian to access our support or take part in our activities. Oikos is open to everyone.
How we’re here for our community
Regular at Oikos
There’s lots happening throughout the month at Oikos. Here are some of the regular ways to get involved:
- Citizens Advice Drop-In — Fridays, 10am–12pm
- Prayer Meeting — Tuesdays, 9:15am
- Bible Study — Mondays, 1:30pm
- Community Pantry — 3rd Tuesday of the month
- Space 2 B — 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 12–2pm
- Community Meal — 2nd Wednesday of the month
